After the revolution of Iran in 1979, most films and animations, besides some TV shows, became illegal. Having a VHS video player at home became illegal. Having photos and posters of movie characters became illegal.
Even many toys were included in these new illegalizations.
These reels, once portraying optimistic childhood memories, have been invaded, ripped off, and replaced by the influx of negatives of the revolution.
